A Happy Green Life laundry wash is formulated to be the greenest, most effective natural detergent. Designed to be gentle enough for cloth diapers but strong enough to remove ground-in dirt and stains from your clothes.
For best results using A Happy Green Life Natural Laundry Wash please follow these instructions:
For normal laundry loads:
1. While filling washing machine with water add 1-2 scoops of laundry wash.
2.Add dirty clothes to bin.
3.Run cycle.
For laundry with stains:
1.Make a ‘paste’ by adding a small amount of water to 1 tsp of laundry wash.
2.Rub the paste onto the stained area.
3.Let sit before washing.
4.Add to your normal laundry load.
For extra fragrance:
1.Add an additional scoop of the laundry wash to the washing machine
2.Let soak for 30-60 minutes
3.Follow up with a dryer ball or cloth dryer sheet in a coordinating scent.
For cloth diaper loads:
1.While filling washing machine with water add 1-2 scoops of laundry wash.
2.Add cloth diapers to the bin.
3.Let diapers soak.
4.Run Cycle.
5.Consult your cloth diaper’s website for specific laundry instructions.
Q: Why add the soap before the clothes?
A: You can add the soap before or after adding your clothes, but we have found that it dissolves easiest when added to the water first. This allows the detergent to be evenly dispersed throughout the whole load of laundry.
Q: I washed my cloth diapers with your laundry wash, but they still stink.
A: If you are using our laundry wash for the first time it is important to do an overnight soak and extra rinse to get rid of any residue left behind from other detergents. Using hot water fill the washing machine and add 1-2 scoops of laundry wash. Allow your cloth diapers to soak overnight (minimum 10 hours). After a long soak, run the cycle as normal and add an extra rinse at the end. The stink will be gone!
Q: I prefer to use a liquid laundry wash, what can I do?
A: Simply dissolve a scoop of our laundry wash in 1 cup of water prior to adding it to your washing machine.
Q: What is the perfect wash regiment?
A: There are so many factors that will change the way your clothes get clean: your washing machine, if you have hard water, the temperature of your water, how full you fill your machine, etc. It is best to experiment to find the best regiment for you.
